ENG: Nicolas Dax, an artistic person amazingly talented in art, music, fashion, photography and acting. A young man from artistic family, creative and intellectual, handsome and charming. You could see him in “Un couteau dans le cœur” film (2018) or on the catwalk during the Paris Fashion Week.
These days Nicolas is releasing his first single Mimosa, the song with the atmosphere of summer nature and sweet sensuality, where he shows himself as a very good poet and composer and also a great vocalist.
Music has always been an integral part of my life. It is the main driver of my moods and sometimes even a factor in some of my choices.
It has always fascinated me, but like with all fascinating things there was a space between us, I saw it almost as a divinity, inaccessible, only observable and impossible to tame. Only certain superhuman beings could have this fascinating gift.
So it was very late I decided to sing, firstly only with friends in a very discreet way in high school, then during opera singing lessons where I discovered myself as a countertenor voice. I then entered the conservatory of the 14th arrondissement where I decided to work seriously on my voice. This made me gain confidence to launch this project.

Mimosa is a composition with the sea, flowers, the feeling of hot summer night and both sensual and platonic romance in it.
The video directed by another multi-talented artist and fashion designer Charles de Vilmorin is fully dedicated to the beauty of colours, nature, human body and the possibilities of creative imagination.
I wrote Mimosa as an invitation to a journey for the love born in summer. I wanted to start with something simple and that speaks to everyone. A little awkward summer dance.

The clip is very interesting from the point of view of fashion: we can see amazingly bright colors in 1970s style and also wide trousers (by Arthur Avellano), gorgeous shirts with many levels of sleeves looking as tropical flowers by Charles de Vilmorin.

So here we can discover not only the new face in French and European music industry but also the great inspiration.

FRA: Nicolas Dax, un artiste incroyablement talentueux en art, musique, mode, photographie et cinéma. Un jeune homme issu d’une famille artistique, créatif et intellectuel, beau et charmant. On pouvait le voir dans le film «Un couteau dans le cœur» (2018) ou sur les podiums lors de la Fashion Week de Paris.
Ces jours-ci, Nicolas sort son premier titre Mimosa, une chanson à l’atmosphère de nature estivale et de la sensualité douce, où il se montre comme un très bon poète et compositeur et aussi un grand chanteur.
La musique a toujours fait partie intégrante de ma vie. Elle est le moteur principal de mes humeurs et parfois même facteur de certains de mes choix.
Elle m’a toujours fasciné, mais comme toutes choses fascinantes il y avait cet espace entre nous, je la voyais presque comme une divinité, inaccessible, seulement observable et impossible à dompter. Seuls certains êtres surhumains pouvaient avoir ce don fascinant.
C’est donc très tard que je me suis décidé à chanter, d’abord seulement avec des amies de manière très discrète au lycée, puis lors de cours de chant lyrique où je me suis découvert une voix de contre-ténor. Je suis ensuite entré au conservatoire du 14 eme arrondissement où j’ai décidé de travailler sérieusement ma voix. Ce qui m’a fait prendre confiance pour lancer ce projet.

Mimosa est une compostion évoquant la mer, les fleurs, la sensation d'une chaude nuit d'été et une romance à la fois sensuelle et platonique.
La vidéo, réalisée par un autre grand artiste et créateur de mode aux multiples talents : Charles De Vilmorin, est entièrement dédiée à la beauté des couleurs, de la nature, du corps humain et aux possibilités de l'imagination créatrice.
J’ai écrit Mimosa comme une invitation au voyage, pour les amours naissantes d’été. Je voulais pour commencer quelque chose de simple et qui parle à tout le monde. Une danse estivale un peu maladroite.

Le clip est très intéressant du point de vue de la mode: on peut y voir des couleurs vives dans le style des années 1970 et aussi des pantalons larges (dessinée par Arthur Avellano), de superbes chemises avec de nombreux niveaux de manches ressemblant à des fleurs tropicales dessinée par Charles De Vilmorin.
On peut donc découvrir ici non seulement le nouveau visage de l'industrie musicale française et européenne mais aussi une grande inspiration.

РУС: Николя Дакс — личность удивительно разносторонняя, он талантлив в живописи, музыке, в сфере моды, фотографии и актерской игре. Молодой человек из артистической семьи, творческий интеллектуал с огромным обаянием. Вы могли видеть его в фильме “Нож в сердце” (2018) и на подиуме Парижской Недели Моды.
В эти дни Николя выпускает свой первый сингл Mimosa, трэк в атмосфере летней природы и чувственности, где он показывает себя как интересного поэта и композитора и также прекрасного вокалиста.

Музыка всегда была неотъемлемой частью моей жизни. Это основа моего настроения, а иногда даже фактор, влияющий на мой выбор.
Она всегда очаровывала меня, но, как и все удивительные вещи, между нами существовало пространство, я видел музыку почти как божество, недоступное, которое можно только наблюдать и невозможно приручить. Только некоторые сверхчеловеческие существа могли иметь этот захватывающий дар.
Я решил петь поздно, сначала очень осторожно, только с друзьями в старшей школе, а затем на уроках оперного пения, где я обнаружил у себя голос контртенора. Затем я поступил в консерваторию в 14 округе Парижа, где решил серьезно поработать над своим голосом. Это заставило меня обрести уверенность, чтобы в конце концов запустить этот проект.

Я написал Мимозу как приглашение к путешествию, она о любви, зародившейся летом. Я хотел начать с чего-то простого и знакомого каждому. С немного неловкого летнего танца.

Клип очень интересен с точки зрения моды: мы можем наблюдать потрясающе яркие цвета в стиле 1970х, широкие брюки от Артура Авельяно, великолепные рубашки с многослойными рукавами, выглядящие подобно тропическим цветам от Шарля де Вильморена.
